About
Active Cycling Journal is about living with a bicycle: choosing useful ways to carry things, making room for it at home, planning rides and understanding the small adjustments that shape daily use. It is for curious riders who want clear explanations without a sales pitch.
The ground we cover
We focus on ordinary bicycle ownership rather than racing or technical repair. Expect explanations of fit and setup, everyday care habits, storage choices, carrying options and ride planning. We aim to make each subject specific enough to use, while leaving room for different bicycles, bodies, homes and routines.
How we approach a question
We start with the decision a reader is trying to make, then explain the trade-offs in direct language. Where a topic depends on personal fit or circumstances, we say so instead of pretending there is one right answer. We do not replace a qualified bicycle mechanic for repairs, safety checks or problems that need hands-on inspection.
Who it is for
The publication is for people who ride, are considering riding, or simply want to understand how bicycles fit into everyday life. No specialist vocabulary is required; when a term helps, we explain it.
